Local 793 Business Manager Mike Gallagher reports from the location that had been planned for the build of the Halton Region Consolidated Courthouse. He discusses the Ontario government’s announcement to cancel the more than $500 million project just weeks before construction was expected to begin.
The new courthouse, replacing the aging structures in Milton and Burlington, was to be built north of the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital.
