Jeff Hewitt

Jeff Hewitt is director of training and apprenticeship as of June 2022. Prior, he was the assistant director of apprenticeship. Jeff was a Toronto area sector coordinator and a tower crane operator. He has been a union member since 2000. He worked in the high-rise forming sector for 14 years and has been on staff since 2014. In 2016, Jeff was the chair of the Formwork Council of Ontario and negotiated for the 2016 Formwork Agreement. He is on the Operating Engineer/Hoisting Operations Trade Labour-Management Health and Safety Committee and is treasurer of the Operating Engineers Non-Profit Housing Inc. He is also on the Highrise Forming Sector Labour-Management Health and Safety Committee.
