John Kelly
Executive Board Member
John Kelly is a third-generation member of Local 793. He joined the local in 1995 when he began his 339-A mobile crane apprenticeship. Prior to his apprenticeship, John worked in the sewer & watermain and road building sectors for 6 years. Following his apprenticeship, John worked in the crane rental sector operating a mobile crane. He was appointed as a business representative of Northwestern Ontario in 2010 and later an area supervisor in 2017. John was appointed as a trustee of the Life & Health Benefits Plan in 2017. In 2021 John was appointed as an executive board member. He is happily married and has one daughter.
