Justin O'Neill

Justin O’Neill is the Toronto area supervisor and a third-generation member of Local 793, which he joined in 2006. He began his career at the Local in October 2008 as a dispatcher at the Union’s head office in Oakville. In March 2010, Justin became an organizer working throughout the province, and in January 2015, he was reassigned to the Barrie area as a business representative. Justin transitioned into sector coordinator in Toronto in 2018, responsible for industrial and road-building bargaining units in the GTA and was appointed union guard in September 2017. In January 2019, Justin was appointed as a Union trustee, where he served until August 2022, when he was appointed to the executive board. Justin sits on several boards, including Local 793’s Non-Profit Housing Corp., Residential & Civil Construction Alliance of Ontario (RCCAO), and the unions training trust fund.
