Brian Alexander
Financial Secretary
Brian Alexander was appointed as Local 793’s director of health and safety in April 2025. He is well diversified in all aspects of Local 793’s operations having served in various capacities with the Operating Engineers Training Institute of Ontario and the Operating Engineers Benefits Administration Corporation dating back to March of 2008. Brian was appointed as an auditor in March 2011, appointed to the executive board in October 2011, appointed as recording-corresponding secretary in January 2014 and was subsequently appointed to financial secretary in June 2022. He is a proud 30-year member and is the second of three generations of Operating Engineers.
