Mike Scott

Mike Scott joined Local 793 in 1985. He worked mainline pipeline in northern Ontario for eight years and worked in the sewer, watermain and road construction sectors for 15 years. Mike is the pipeline/distribution business rep, director of the pipeline apprenticeship program and lead instructor of steward training in Toronto. He is also a training trustee. Mike was appointed as Vice President in December 2023. Mike’s father, Pat Scott, is an honourary lifetime member of the union. Mike is married with five children. His two oldest sons are Operating Engineers.
