Local 793 member Juan Perez-Hurtado is operating a Terex SK315 tower crane for Reimar Forming and Construction as concrete walls are poured for the Extendicare Canada long-term care home in St Catherines. Working alongside Brother Perez-Hurtado is Brother Giovanni Cannataro, who is operating a CAT 320 for Volturno Excavating. Once completed in early 2027, the facility will include 256 beds, private spaces for families supporting residents through end-of-life care, a café, dedicated family dining areas, a chapel, and a beauty salon/barber shop.
