International Women’s Day (IWD) is celebrated on March 8 every year. It is a day to acknowledge and celebrate women’s achievements in Canada and worldwide. It is also a time to raise awareness about issues impacting women’s advancement and an opportunity to forge a society free from bias, stereotypes and discrimination.
IUOE, Local 793 is proud to be part of the movement for gender equality. We will continue to encourage diversity and inclusion in the workplace in efforts to remove barriers in our industry.
