Members in Eastern Ontario are keeping busy with work on the Stage Two Light Rail Transit (LRT) project in Ottawa. The Stage Two project will add 44 kilometres of railway and 24 stations to the O-Train system from Bayshore to Place d’Orleans, and south to Bowesville at Riverside South.
Seen in the photo below is Local 793 member Frank Smith working onsite for Kiewit. Brother Frank is operating a 336 Cat excavator to install storm pipes.
