Public Health Ontario has released a new report examining breakthrough infections in Ontario. The report shows that there have been 17,596 breakthrough cases among the more than 11 million fully vaccinated Ontarians. There were only 9 cases of Ontarians under 60 who ended up in the ICU among those breakthrough cases.

By comparison, there have been 1,722 unvaccinated Ontarians who ended up in the ICU over the same period of time.
