Ontario Premier Doug Ford has doubled down on his commitment to fully fund a 16-kilometre Bradford Bypass highway, which would connect existing Toronto-area highways in Simcoe County and York Region.
This project would be part of the $2.6 billion that the government earmarked for highways and bridges this year in its fall economic statement.
