Crane operator Logan Mc Farlane of Moir Crane is hoisting steel for the new multimillion-dollar Minth battery casing facility in Windsor. This is Phase One of a multi-facility project being built to support the NextStar Energy electric vehicle battery plant, a $6 billion joint venture between automaker Stellantis and South Korea’s LG Energy Solution. The project has provided jobs for dozens of Local 793 members and will continue to do so for the next several years.
