Attention Local 793 Members:
We are pleased to share that the Red Seal Completion Bonus ($5,000 payment for eligible journeypersons) will be open for application starting November 16th, 2026.
You can receive the bonus for each designated Red Seal trade in which you complete an apprenticeship and receive certification.
To apply for the completion bonus, Local 793 tradespersons must have completed their apprenticeship and earned their certification in a designated Red Seal Trade (listed below) on or after April 1st, 2025.
- 339A Mobile Crane (Branch 1)
- 339B Tower Crane
- 636A Tractor-Loader-Backhoe
- 636B Excavator
- 636C Dozer
Application deadlines depend on your certification date:
- If your certification date is between April 1st, 2025, and November 15th, 2026, you must apply by May 31st, 2027.
- If your certification date is on or after November 16th, 2026, you must apply within 12 months of your certification date.
