Today, we recognize the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day.

We stand united to remember the children, families, and communities who were impacted by the residential school system. Orange Shirt Day is a powerful reminder that every child matters. It’s a day to reflect, learn, and support healing for the Indigenous communities affected by this painful history.

On this day, all 793 staff and OETIO apprentices wear orange shirts to show solidarity, promote awareness, and encourage open conversations about reconciliation.

Let’s wear orange with pride and keep the spirit of this day alive in our hearts. Together, we can make a difference and continue the journey toward healing and understanding. 🧡
