Work on a new condominium development continues at the former headquarters of the Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO) on Lake Shore Boulevard just east of Yonge Street.

Doing demolition work for Astro Environment in preparation for the construction of 90, 87, 79 and 16-storey mixed-use condominium and rental buildings are Brothers Juan Vazquez and Jorge Sigarreta.

Brother Vazquez is operating a CAT 350C High Reach Excavator with a Pincher attachment and Brother Jorge Sigarreta operates a John Deere 350G High Reach Excavator with Sheer attachment.

Easter is a time to celebrate new beginnings, hope and renewal. This spring has brought everyone a sense of relief as we see the signs of recovery from the pandemic.

Let’s continue to support each other throughout the upcoming year and reflect upon a quote from Pope Francis’ 2022 Easter message: “Peace is possible; peace is a duty; peace is everyone’s primary responsibility.”

Brother Jesse Osborne operates a 521B excavator with feller buncher attachment for Canadian Woodlands, clearing trees and brush along Highway 400.

The project consists of widening Highway 400 from the six-lane to the ten-lane platform from north of King Road to the south of 16th Sideroad and north of 16th Sideroad to the south of Lloydtown-Aurora Road.

Brothers Richard Kyle Gibbs and David Kooperberg are drilling 4600 CMCs (controlled modulus columns) at 901 Hopkins Street, Whitby. CMCs are concrete columns placed in a grid network that effectively spreads the applied high loads from the structure above and between the ground and the grid of CMCs. The project is to construct a modern […]

Brothers Richard Kyle Gibbs and David Kooperberg are drilling 4600 CMCs (controlled modulus columns) at 901 Hopkins Street, Whitby.

CMCs are concrete columns placed in a grid network that effectively spreads the applied high loads from the structure above and between the ground and the grid of CMCs.

The project is to construct a modern industrial warehouse in the prime GTA east industrial node.
