A fantastic turnout, as Local 793 staff and supporters participated in the Annual Terry Fox Run on Sunday. Inspired and ready to make a difference, participants walked, ran, biked, rollerbladed or used a wheel-chair to make their way around the route at Coronation Park in Oakville. IUOE Local 793 thanks our staff and everyone who took part in supporting the Terry Fox Run. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year.

Local 793 Remembers and Honours the Memory of the 11th Day

Today we stand in solidarity with our brothers and sisters across America as the world marks the 22nd anniversary of the terrorist attacks that claimed the lives of nearly 3,000 people. While the horror of 9/11 will stay with all of us, the heroism and sacrifice displayed by so many continues to inspire and stand as a fitting memorial to the true power of the human spirit. We will remember.
