Local 793 members are busy performing an integrity dig for TC Energy on a live natural gas mainline in Cobalt, Ont. This is a rare and very complex dig, as the slope is in excess of 15 degrees and requires precision and clear communication between the operator and his oiler.
On site are Brothers Konnor Paquette (foreman), Brian Alexander (oiler/apprentice), Rick Paquette (superintendent) and Kevin Robideau (excavator operator). Brother Konnor is a 3rd generation member and Brother Rick is a 2nd generation member, proud son and grandson to retiree, Don Paquette.
