Kevin Rodrigues, a recent OETIO tower crane apprenticeship graduate, is now working for Hardrock at a Buttcon construction site on a 200-bed long-term care facility at Seaton Village in Pickering. Brother Kevin’s foreman is quite impressed with his skills and knowledge as an operator and says he has a promising career as a tower crane operator.

The Seaton House Long-Term Care construction is a 3-storey building supporting senior care for 200 residents, including 20 behavioural units for people with complex care needs such as dementia.

The care home expects to welcome its first residents in the summer of 2026.
