The Broadbent Institute recently published a report that examines why the Canadian right wing is trying to import American-style anti-labour laws and attack the union movement in this country. The report debunks some of the myths that are being floated by advocates of the anti-union laws and concludes that Canadian society would be better served by strengthening, not weakening, unions. The report, called Union Communities, Healthy Communities, was authored by Andrew Jackson, senior policy advisor to the Broadbent Institute.
