The government of Ontario announced earlier today that it is moving forward with a new 400-series highway. The highway, titled 413 will extend from Highway 400 in the East to the Highway 401/407 interchange area in the West.

This will ease congestion in the Greater Golden Horseshoe area and save drivers up to 30 minutes each way on their commute. This project is expected to support up to 3,500 jobs each year and generate up to $350 million in annual real GDP.
