The Ontario government plans to lift some of Ontario’s COVID-19 restrictions

Reports have leaked out that Doug Ford’s government will announce the easing of some COVID-19 restrictions. These will include ending capacity limits in all locations where proof of vaccination requirements are in place (restaurants, bars, gyms, etc.) An official announcement is expected sometime next week when the government will unveil a “revised pandemic plan” that will replace the existing “Roadmap to Reopen.” This new revised pandemic plan will factor in the province’s success in getting the majority of Ontarians vaccinated.
