IUOE Local 793 Business Manager Mike Gallagher announced in his latest video update that the Union’s general membership meeting is scheduled for Sunday, March 27, 2022, at the OE Banquet & Conference Centre at head office in Oakville. The meeting begins at 10 am.

Proof of vaccination will not be required to attend the general membership meeting but to ensure the health and safety of all members and staff, masking requirements and social distancing of at least 2-metres while indoors will temporarily remain in place.
Also, in accordance with advice received from infectious disease specialist Dr. Colin Furness, rapid testing will be performed for all meeting registrants prior to entry due to a recent surge in COVID-19 infections.
In order to enforce these rules and comply with room occupancy limits, pre-registration will be required for those wishing to attend the general membership meeting.

Pre-registration for the general membership meeting is now open and will close on March 25, 2022, at 4pm.
